Seeking out the best fitting techniques, each a complete new challenge and using the latest technology from regular visits abroad to fellow Ocularists and conferences allows for the best results. Working alongside her partner, Danie, and now her daughter Liezl, backed by wonderful, friendly frontline ladies, Sharon and Sinayo, her clients enter a world of comfort and satisfaction, whether coming for a first time visit or a repeat.
Vida has been involved with not only helping people of all ages, from all wakes of life and unique journeys experienced for over three decades, she endeavours to obtain a peaceful happy haven at the practice with her dedicated team. Her patients can be assured of the latest fitting techniques used in the industry as she is in constant contact with the global family of Ocularists, attending conferences and workshops annually.
The Great Outdoors, onTerra Firma and under the Ocean, travelling to new destinations, on this beautiful planet gives her the inspiration. With her family she hikes the big mountains and dives the ocean depths, camping in the wild with the animals up close and personal, when she is not at work and helping her patients.
Danie likes working with people and making ocular prosthetics for people. This is an outlet for the creative side. Having a good back-up team is also very essential. That is when his partner, Vida and his daughter, Liezl with the efficient frontline team come into play.
This streamlines the patients experience at Ocular Impressions. The homely environment further eases the experience further for the patient. When not at work he enjoys the outdoor environment with his family.
I view it as a privilege to be working in the line of helping people so I strive to give the very best of myself in my training and in my work. It is fantastic being part of a team that is so committed to customer care.
I have been working with Vida and Danie for 15 years. I am very passionate about my work and helping our patients. My aim with every patient is to assist them as much as possible so that they are comfortable and relaxed at our practice.
I have been working for a little less than 2 years. My care and passion for people is what keeps me eager to assist with enquiries and concerns on the admin side of things.
